Welcome to Castle Wind Ensemble!
We are a new wind orchestra formed in Osaka in September 2009.
'Castle' means a fortress which is our band itself. It is impossible for a castle to be built by a single person, rather it is necessary to have team work and the effort of many people. Like constructing a castle we think we need enthusiasm and human power to structure our band and this is why we named our band Castle Wind Ensemble.
Our symbol is based on Osaka Castle and represents 'A band of Osaka'.
We are committed to nurturing our members passion for music and aim to contribute to the local community through musical activities. Our basic concepts are 'Trying our best, Team work and Creating a soulful sound'.
Our members all have great memories of their time as members of their school orchestras. We recreate that passion for music in our rehearsals.
